The project is the design and construction of a temporary facility to service passenger traffic during Phase 1 construction of the permanent SFO Terminal 1 and Boarding Area B. This temporary facility will be a fully functional boarding area for a period of 4-6 years and will be carrying 2-3 domestic carriers, which will require 8-9 aircraft gates.

Civil Engineering Scope of Services for this project includes: Underground utility design for upgrade/relocation of all wet utility systems, including storm drainage, sanitary, and water; Joint trench design; Phasing plans for the underground utility related work; Erosion control plan.
