The Pier 43 Bay Trail Link project consists of the construction of a public promenade and a recreation area along the waterside of Embarcadero. It will include the removal of piers and sidewalks back to the seawall; repairs to the seawall; protection of the shoreline and; building a new promenade in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. This promenade will have tables, chairs, landscaping and views of Alcatraz and the historic rail arch. It would close a gap in the San Francisco Bay Trail and will enhance the quality of the pedestrian experience and provide an open space destination.

TECI Scope includes: perform topographic survey; provide site demolition plan, surface improvements, grading and drainage plans and details; utility relocation layout and design of all on-site wet and dry utilities; paving and striping plans; preparation of construction staging exhibit to handle pedestrian & traffic plans; prepare Civil engineering portion of Specifications and Cost Estimates; Construction Administration for Civil portion of work.
