This is a multi award winning project. It consists of a 379,000-sf building including a 360-bed detention facility, a 3-story courthouse and a 2-story support building with supporting site work and a 384 space surface parking lot. It is located on 18 acres of steep difficult terrain and seismically challenging site next to the existing facility.

This project achieved the first and only juvenile justice facility in the US to attain LEED® Gold certification.

TECI is the civil engineer of record for the entire project from pre-contract phase, through the construction documents phase to the construction administration phase. We provided site master planning, infrastructure utility design, grading and drainage, site improvements, retention pond, bio-swale, site LEED design and permitting.
